Policies

Pet Sitting Hours:
We know that each pet is different and after meeting with our clients we will schedule your daily visits accordingly. Our office hours are 8:00AM to 5:00PM, however we do check messages after hours and on weekends as well.

Consultation Visit:
We will visit your home free of charge to meet with you and your pet(s). At this meeting we will fill out the contract, pet information sheet, and medical treatment form. The medical treatment form must be given to your vet so that No-Bones-About-It.com (NBAI) can seek emergency medical treatment for your pet(s) in your absence.
Please have the following items ready for your sitter:
2 sets of working house keys.
medical records for each pet
a current picture of your pet(s)
any other relevant information you would like us to know
Holiday Rate:
A service charge of $25.00 is in effect on:

New Years Day
Memorial Day
July 4th
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Week -Example you book Thanksgiving day and the Friday after. In that event you would be billed a daily rate of $50.00 per day X 2 days + $25.00 holiday service charge for a total of $125.00. You will only incur one holiday service charge during the whole week even if you book multiple days. Christmas Eve through Dec 31st. (see above example)
Payment for Service:
Vacation Sits/Overnight Guidelines:
The first Vacation Sit or Overnight Visit for a new client will require payment to be made in advance. Once you have established an account with NBAI, only half of the payment will be required in advance. The remaining balance of payment will be due within 3 days of your return.
Daily Walk Payment Guidelines:
Payment is due by the last date which is indicated on the service invoice. Daily walks are billed twice a month.
Payment Options:
We accept payment in the form of check, cash, money order, or Pay Pal. Pay Pal gives you the option to use your credit card if you desire. A $5.00 service fee will be applied when using Pay Pal.

Returned Check Fee:
All returned checks are charged a $30.00 fee and your privileges to pay by check may be suspended by NBAI.
Delinquent Accounts:
If payment is not received by the due dates, your service may be discontinued until the full payment is received. In that event we also reserve the right to require payment in advance before any other services may be performed. A 10% late fee is assessed to all delinquent accounts.
Animal Restrictions:
We currently do not offer services to dogs over the age of 9 months that are not spayed/neutered. Unless they are a registered show animal. Dogs with a history of aggression or deemed as a possible flight risk will be evaluated during our initial consultation to determine if appropriate service can be provided.
Inclement Weather Policy:
NBAI makes every effort to perform all scheduled walks. It should be noted that a large part of our day consists of road travel. If the roads are deemed to dangerous to drive on, we will contact any owner that has not had service provided on that day. We also reserve the right to cancel visits if we feel that existing conditions are too dangerous for travel or could impact the safety of your pet(s).
Cancelation Policy:
Mid day visits may be cancelled as late as 9am on the day of the scheduled visit. Vacation visits must be cancelled at least 3 business days before the scheduled visit except for Holiday visits. During Holiday visits we require a weeks notice for cancellations. If less than one week is given you will forfeit your 50% deposit. This is required because Holiday demands exceed available spaces.

Parking Policy:
We require 1 open space for your sitter. This can either be a driveway or numbered space. This ensures that your sitter can tend to your pet instead of searching for a parking space.
Alarm Codes:
Contact the office to arrange the code to be used. We will need the actual alarm code as well as a call in code for the alarm company and the 800 number. This is needed in case we set the alarm off , we have a way to alert the authorities that it is a false alarm. Failing to give us the needed information could result in the termination of your services.
Working Utilities:
Each home must have 1 working bathroom, working utilities, including heat, air conditioning, electric, water, and phone service.
